The Greenville Airport Commission is actively seeking tenants for its six parcels of land that range in size from 2.5 to about 12 acres. GMU is centrally located, just three miles from downtown, in the heart of Greenville's business district. Right in between main city arteries: Laurens Road, N. Pleasantburg, Haywood Road and 385, these parcels offer a convenient location for corporate offices, warehouses, data processing centers, freight distribution centers and aviation related companies. Some of the sites have runway access and all of the plots have flexible zoning. One large lot is located near Runway Park at GMU. We would like to incorporate an office building next to a new parking lot that can be shared with Runway Park at GMU visitors. An ideal tenant wouldn't need much parking and mainly use the lot during the week and during work hours. It has a great runway view and if you have a plane at the airport it is within walking distance of some of the hangars!
Two lots seem perfect for office/t-hangar combos, maybe with executive suites services. One lot is on Byrdland Drive across from Redemption World Outreach and the other is between Piper Lane, Woods Lake and Byrdland Drive. These would have retail off the street parking outside the fence for your customers! We are thinking that a business that provides services and uses aviation like some attorneys, real estate developers, etc.. would love to have a space built to their needs where clients can come in their cars (with true street access and not through locked gates) and they can have easy access to travel in their planes.
